The Austintown Township Zoning Commission shall hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at 6:00 P.M., at the Township Building, 82 Ohltown Road, Austintown, Ohio, for consideration of the following case:  




John P. and Tina Ryan, 3349 Linden Park, Canfield, Ohio, 44406, and Beverly Kozak, Trustee, 4642 Barrington Drive, Austintown, Ohio, 44515, request the rezoning of an additional easterly 200 feet portion of four (4) parcels of land containing a total of 2.51 acres, Lot Nos. 3, 4, 5, and 6, Pembrook Plat, Parcels 48-080-0-037, 48-080-0-036, 48-080-0-035, and 48-080-0-034, 1401, 1441, and 1481 South Raccoon Road, Austintown Township, from Business B-2 Districts and Residential R-2 Districts to  Business B-2 Districts for a total depth of 400 feet with the easterly twenty feet to remain as Residential R-2 Districts and serve as a buffer.   Said properties are rectangular in shape, have a combined frontage of 260.60 feet and a depth of 420 feet, are located on the east side of the South Raccoon Road right-of-way, approximately 110 feet north of the South Raccoon Road-Pembrook Road intersection; and are zoned as Business B-2 Districts for a depth of 200 feet with the easterly remainder zoned as Residential R-2 Districts in Austintown Township, Mahoning County, State of Ohio.  

The Zoning Commission will act upon the recommendation of the Mahoning County Planning Commission (Meeting Date: June 22, 2021 at 1:00P.M at 50 Westchester Drive, Austintown, Ohio 44515) and forward their recommendation to the Austintown Township Trustees for final determination at a future date to be announced.

 Text of the proposed amendment may be viewed at the Austintown Township Zoning Office, 90 Westchester Drive, Austintown, Ohio, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. until time of the hearing.
