TO:  Property owners within an area of a zone change request.

The Austintown Township Trustees shall hold a Public Hearing in accordance with Ohio Revised Code Section 519.12 onMonday, January 11, 2020 at 7:00 P.M, at the Township Building, 82 Ohltown Road, Austintown, Ohio, for final determination of the following zoning amendment:  

AMENDMENT 2020-04-Z

John Bergman, Sr., 159 North Canfield-Niles Road, Austintown, Ohio, 44515, request the rezoning of a 0.313 acre parcel of land further defined as Lot No. 142, The Central Realty Company Replat, Parcel No. 48-030-0-040, 159 North Canfield-Niles Road, Austintown Township, from a Residential R-1 District to a Business B-1 District in its entirety.  Said property is rectangular in shape, has a frontage of 93.78 feet on North Canfield-Niles Road and a depth of 174.84 feet at the north property line. The property is located on the east side of the North Canfield-Niles Road right-of-way, approximately 110 feet south of the North Canfield-Niles Road-West Rockwell Road intersection; and is zoned as a Residential R-1 District in Austintown Township, Mahoning County, State of Ohio.  

Anyone wishing to submit exhibits in support or in opposition of the request may forward them to the Austintown Township Zoning Office via email to dc@austintowntwp.com prior to the hearing.   Social distancing will be required. 

Text of the proposed amendment may be viewed by appointment only at the Austintown Township Zoning Office, 90 Westchester Drive, Austintown, Ohio, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M.
